Gun Show Visitor Information

Bringing Firearms Into The Show

All attendees are welcome to bring firearms for appraisal, sale, or trade, subject to the following requirements:

Mandatory Safety Check

  • ALL firearms brought into the venue—including personal carry weapons—must be checked at the Gun Check station before entering the show floor.

  • Our staff at the Gun Check tables will verify firearms are unloaded and will secure them with a zip tie to render them inoperable.

  • This applies to everyone, including concealed carry permit holders.

Personal Firearms for Sale or Trade

Attendees may bring firearms into the show for potential sale or trade under these conditions:

  • Carry limit: You may only bring what you can reasonably carry on your person. Carts, wagons, rolling cases, or other wheeled containers are NOT permitted for attendees bringing firearms to sell.

  • Firearms only: Attendees may bring firearms for sale/trade. Ammunition, accessories, parts, or other merchandise may not be brought in for sale by non-vendor attendees.

  • FFL requirement for certain sales: Federal law requires that sales to out-of-state buyers and certain other transactions be processed through a Federal Firearms License holder. Licensed dealers are available on-site to facilitate these transfers.

What You May NOT Bring into the Show Venue

  • Ammunition (in any quantity)

  • Loaded firearms

  • Firearm accessories, parts, or merchandise for sale (non-vendors)

  • Carts, wagons, or rolling cases containing firearms or merchandise

Parking Lot Sales Are Prohibited

  • All firearm sales and transactions must occur inside the venue.

  • Conducting sales in the parking lot or on surrounding property is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the event.

Why These Rules Exist

These policies help ensure:

  • Safety first: Unloaded, secured firearms prevent accidents

  • Fair competition: Our vendors pay for table space and deserve protection from competing sidewalk sellers.

  • Legal compliance: FFL dealers on-site ensure all transfers meet federal and state requirements.

  • Positive experience: Clear rules create a professional, organized environment for everyone.

Violations of these policies may result in immediate removal from the show without refund.
