Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club is a private, volunteer-run shooting club serving Polk County since 1968.

Membership here is not transactional. It is about belonging to a group that sets and protects its own standards.

  • Already understand basic range etiquette or are willing to learn it through our orientation and training

Safety Is Cultural

We do not rely on constant supervision to keep people in line.

Instead, our members:

  • complete safety orientation and live-fire demonstrations

  • learn our procedures before shooting independently

  • participate in club activities

  • help maintain standards

  • report unsafe behavior through a formal process

Everything here—from matches to junior programs to work days—is run by volunteers.

Members enjoy access to rifle, pistol, and shotgun facilities, plus regular matches.
