100-Yard .22 LR Benchrest Matches

This is a 100-yard .22 Long Rifle benchrest match using two targets with a possible score of 400. The matches are open to club members, Blue Cards, and general public.

SCHEDULE, TIMING, AND FEE

Practice Match: September
Competition Season: October through March
Monthly schedules will be sent to all participants in September.

Frequency: Second Saturday of each month

Registration: 10:00 AM
Safety Meeting: 10:15 AM
Shooting Begins: 10:30 AM

Match Fee:

$10.00 per match (Members/Blue Cards)
$15.00 per match (Public)

All participants must sign a waiver form.

COURSE OF FIRE

Distance: 100 yards

Targets:

  • One sight-in target: 15 minutes

  • Two record targets: 20 minutes each (total: 40 minutes)

EQUIPMENT RULES

Requirements:

  • Rifles must be sighted in for 100 yards before the match

Allowed:

  • Any rifle

  • Any scope (any power scope)

  • Any .22 LR ammunition

  • Any 2-piece rifle rest or bipod

  • Wind flags

NOT Allowed:

  • No one-piece rifle rests

  • No rail guns

SEASON SCORING & AWARDS

September is a practice match; results do not contribute to record score.
October - March results contribute to record score.

Match Day Awards:

  • Awards for 1st through 6th place

Tie Breakers:

  • X’s determine ties

  • If still tied, high score on the last target shot wins

Perfect Score Payout!

  • For a little extra motivation: A cash prize will be awarded for a perfect score. The payout increases each month until someone wins it.
