Damage to 100-Yard Range Equipment

4/29/26: Recently completed improvements to the 100-yard range target frames have sustained intentional damage. The incident has been documented and will be reviewed by the Board.

LRPC is a self-policing community built on safety, skill, and mutual respect. Members who witness unsafe or destructive behavior on the ranges are asked to report it to the Club Administrator at 863-665-0092.

100-yard Range Status Update

4/22/26: The 100-yard range target frame work has been completed! 20 new target frames are inside the 100-yard target room. There are additional frames in the club storage trailer for match use only. Thanks to Dan Egbert, Paul Julian, Bob Drake, and Rod Hamlet for all their work to complete this project.

Maintenance: To protect the new frames, please stagger the targets when you hang them back in the target room. If any damage occurs (e.g., a weld break or other issue), please mark the damaged frame and notify Paul Julian (Maintenance), Annette Krzus (Club Administrator), or Dan Egbert (Director, Planning). Please don’t delay: the sooner they know, the sooner the target frame can be repaired.

  • There are still a few slots open at the May Gun Show for door guards, gun check, helping put out signs for the show, helping in the parking lot, and transporting the trailers. Check the end-of-day slots on Saturday and Sunday. All are important positions, but we need the most help with putting out and picking up signs for the show. These are significant drivers for attendance, so your help is appreciated. If you’re interested in helping with the show, and getting credit toward next year’s dues, click here to go to SignUp Genius to see what’s available. You’ll need to set up a free SignUp Genius account if you don’t have one already.

  • Volunteers get free access to the show both days and $10/hour credit toward 2027 membership dues.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Paul Julian, Club Maintenance, often has projects that he would welcome some help with. If you’re interested in earning some volunteer hours helping maintain/improve the club facilities, contact Paul at the number below. This can contribute to $10/hour credit on your next year’s dues or credit toward Blue Card membership requirements (2 hrs = 1 shift).
