The Central Florida Gun Show is Florida’s longest-running gun show. Held three times each year, the show brings together licensed dealers, private sellers, and exhibitors in a structured, safety-focused environment and is operated entirely by club volunteers.

A Lakeland Tradition since 1968
The Central Florida Gun Show began in 1968, the same year the Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club (LRPC) was founded. What started with 100 tables at the Lake Mirror Center has grown into one of the Southeast’s most respected shows, now featuring 300 tables and as many as 150 independent vendors.
Over the years, the event has been known by several names, including The Central Florida Arms Show and the Original Lakeland Gun Show, before becoming The Central Florida Gun Show. While the name and advertising have evolved, the show itself has remained an LRPC tradition from the beginning.
Still run entirely by LRPC volunteers, the show reflects the club’s commitment to authenticity, community, and the shooting sports. Despite challenging conditions in its early years, dedicated volunteers kept the tradition alive and helped build the show’s reputation for quality and integrity. Vendors are carefully selected, and waiting lists of exhibitors wanting to participate reflect the strength of that reputation.
What Makes Us Different
Focused on the good stuff. Unlike many gun shows that are padded with flea-market fillers, ours stays focused on firearms and related equipment: 300 tables—modern, used, historic, collectible. The kind of variety people actually come to see.
Vendors chosen on purpose. With a waiting list for our shows, we can be selective. Exhibitors are screened for quality, knowledge, and the kind of inventory that keeps this show worth the trip.
Built and run by the Club. Members of the Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club have handled the operations, vendor selection, and floor management themselves for every show since it started in 1968. That’s how we maintain its reputation for professionalism and consistency.
